(AP) The NCAA says that Louisville freshman forward Shaqquan Aaron can begin playing for the fourth-ranked Cardinals on Dec. 20 after sitting out nine games for receiving housing-related extra benefits.
Aaron has missed seven games but practiced for Louisville while his amateurism was being determined by the sanctioning body. The school announced in a statement before Tuesday night's game against Indiana in New York that Aaron must miss 30 percent of the season and have repayment and community service as terms of his reinstatement.
